RAIN CHANCES GO UP LATER SATURDAY… SUNDAY LOOKS LIKE IT WILL BE CHILLY AND DAMP… LOW PRESSURE MOVES AWAY BY MONDAY ALLOWING FOR THE RETURN OF SUNSHINE
The nice, mild weather of the past few days is history as a low pressure system organizes to our southwest. The low will move through the region tonight and tomorrow bringing with it some rain and breezy conditions.  Note that the computer models are still not in total agreement as to how this system evolves. In previous computer model runs, some of the models had more wrap-around moisture on Sunday as the low moved offshore. Now, they seemed to have backed off on that idea. Either way, it’s not going to be a nice weekend with a chilly northeast wind and occasional chances of rain beginning most likely Saturday afternoon/evening in most spots. Areas to our north may see some snowflakes mix in tonight and Sunday. A few inches of snow is expected in parts of the Northern Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern States, so be careful if you’re heading up there. On Monday, the low moves away and we should see a return of sunshine. Temperatures are expected to return to above normal levels by mid-week… Spring begins on Sunday at 12:30 AM EDT. Thanks for reading and have a great weekend!
