THE WEATHER THE NEXT FEW DAYS SHOULD BE RATHER PLEASANT WITH NEAR NORMAL TEMPERATURES, TOLERABLE HUMIDITY LEVELS AND PLENTY OF SUNSHINE… RAIN CHANCES SHOULD REMAIN LOW THROUGH THE WEEKEND

As a weak area of low pressure moves off the NC coastline, our weather will be very pleasant and this should last through the weekend. The low pressure area only brought clouds to the Hampton Roads area on Thursday. Showers and storms occurred in southern NC. Earlier today (Friday), there were a few showers in SE VA and NE NC but they have moved out to sea. There will be a light NE wind today, which will help to keep temperatures at tolerable levels. We’ll continue to get a break from the heat and high humidity through early next week. However, later next week, it looks like the heat and higher humidity levels are likely to return along with a chance of showers/thunderstorms.  The tropical Atlantic remains quiet for now. That’s it for now. Thanks for reading and have a great day!
