THE INTENSE HEAT IS GONE FOR NOW AS THE PATTERN BECOMES TYPICAL FOR LATE JULY… THERE MAY BE AN INCREASED CHANCE OF STORMS BY MID-WEEK

The weather pattern will not feature temperature extremes over the next few days here in the Mid-Atlantic States. The intense heat is over for now but it won’t be cool either. Temperatures will be closer to normal. There will also be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm each day. This chance may go up as we head towards mid-week. An upper-level trough will be the primary cause of any wet weather that we may see this week. In case you are wondering about the tropics, things remain quiet. With August around the corner, it is expected that things will start to ramp up, but right now, there are no signs of any tropical cyclone development in the Atlantic Basin over the next few days. That’s it for now. Have a great day.
