ANOTHER DRY WEEKEND IS IN STORE FOR HAMPTON ROADS… RAIN CHANCES STAY LOW UNTIL NEXT THURSDAY… WE’LL SEE A SLOW WARMING TREND THIS UPCOMING WEEK… WILL WE SEE A NEW TROPICAL STORM IN THE ATLANTIC BASIN?

Well, the weekend is here again and the weather should be great for most outdoor activities. Although high pressure will be nearby, clouds will be around especially on Saturday but no precipitation is expected at this time. The next chance of rain will probably be on Thursday or Friday when a cold front and the associated trough approach the region. Prior to that, temperatures will warm up a bit by mid-week. This past week’s system brought about 1.40 inches of rain to my neighborhood. Norfolk also saw a record high temperature earlier in the week of 86 degrees. There is an area in the Southwestern Caribbean Sea that is being monitored by the National Hurricane Center (NHC). Right now, according to the NHC,¬†there is a 70% chance of development. That’s if for now. Have a great day and thanks for reading.
