THE WARM AND DRY WEATHER CONTINUES… TEMPERATURES SHOULD RETURN TO NORMAL NEXT WEEK
The warm weather pattern continues today (Friday) and we should stay dry for the most part through the weekend. Temperatures should soar well into the 70’s. A cold front will move through on Saturday bringing windy conditions to Hampton Roads. Due to the low relative humidity levels, there will be an increased fire danger on Saturday. No significant precipitation is expected with this front. A low pressure system moving by to our north will produce a rather steep pressure gradient here which will result in windy conditions on Saturday. Temperatures will be cooler on Sunday but on Monday (President’s Day), we may see another brief warm-up. There may be some showers late Monday and/or Tuesday. I’ll have more details on that system in my Saturday morning post. Thanks for reading and have a great day!
