A STRONG COLD FRONT APPROACHES THE HAMPTON ROADS REGION SATURDAY NIGHT… DROPPING TEMPERATURES AND SOME RAIN WILL MAKE FOR A CHILLY SUNDAY

Out ahead of the strong cold front, Saturday will feature high humidity and warm temperatures. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible at any time. Any shower/thunderstorm could drop very heavy rainfall in a short period of time. After the cold front passes through, temperatures will start dropping on Sunday. The high temperature should occur early in the day. Temperatures by late afternoon could be in the 50’s! The rain, which could fall steadily for a period early Sunday, should be tapering off by late afternoon, but I’ll have more on the timing of the rainfall in my Sunday morning post. Monday will be a very chilly day for this time of year. Temperatures will slowly moderate by mid-week.
