A VERY TRICKY FORECAST FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS… ONE THING IS FOR SURE… TEMPERATURES WILL BE ON THE COOL SIDE THROUGH SUNDAY AT LEAST

After a very pleasant Thursday for early December, a cold front will change things here in Hampton Roads. Temperatures probably will not get out of the 40’s on Friday. The cold weather should hold through the weekend. There will be a few opportunities for some light precipitation this weekend. One will be Friday night and early Saturday and the other will be Saturday night. None of these situations look impressive as deep moisture will be lacking. However, given the cooler than normal temperatuers, any precipitation that falls can be in the form of snow or sleet. Luckily, it should be light enough to not cause too much a problem. The front that moves through Thursday night will not move that far off the coast. Another more significant system will move into the region on Tuesday but I’ll have more on that system in my weekend posts. Check back in Saturday morning for the latest update. I’m also going to have a special post on the monthly precipitation amounts this year.
